The Department of Science and Technology-Food and Nutrition Research Institute (DOST-FNRI) stood proud in this year’s gathering of the country’s best and brightest scientific minds as the PDRI 2015: Philippine Dietary Reference Intakes bagged the 2019 Outstanding Book Award given by the National Academy of Science and Technology, Philippines (NAST PHL). NAST PHL conferred the award on the second day of the 41st Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM), July 11, 2019, at the EDSA Shangri-La Hotel in Ortigas, Mandaluyong City, in the presence of National Scientists, Academicians, several up-and-coming scientists, and top science administrators and movers in the country.
