๐๐ข๐ข๐: DOST-FNRI participated in the 2025 School-Based Feeding Program (SBFP) Nutritious Food Products (NFP) and Milk Suppliersโ Expo and Mapping held at the DepEd Philippines Ecotech, Cebu City on February 10 - 14, 2025.
The expo and mapping led by the Bureau of Learner Support Services - School Health Division (BLSS-SHD) assessed the availability of NFP and milk supply in each School Division Office (SDO). The event also served as a platform for SBFP suppliers to connect with Regional and Schools Division Focal Persons to address DepEdโs requirements, product specifications, and implementation challenges.
Moreover, Dr. Imelda Angeles-Agdeppa, Member of the Board of Nutrition and Dietetics, Professional Regulation Commission, gave a lecture on ways to achieve food and nutrition security through science and technology innovations.
The activity sought to strengthen suppliers' commitment to the SBFP by building new partnerships, enhancing existing ones, and ensuring the programโs effective implementation.
